Michael Fouts, RD
Mike decided to become a Dietitian after being a Personal Trainer and noticing how influential nutrition was with his clients results.
Mike enjoys helping clients with: Sports specific nutrition - get better performance, results, and an edge on competition; Fat loss - custom approach to lose fat long-term; Building muscle - proper nutrition to complement efforts in the gym; Nutrition education - break down nutrition myths and simplify complex topics (e.g., how nutrition isn’t black and white, and food isn’t good/bad; healthy/unhealthy – all food fits).
In his spare time you can find Mike playing hockey, squash (the sport), or spending time with friends and family, reading, and watching movies and tv series.
What It's like Working With Mike:
Working with Mike is like an on-going relationship. He'll meet you where you are at, and take the necessary steps to get you where you want to be. He'll provide the necessary resources (eg. recipes, Meal Plans) and coaching needed along the way; Meal Plans are made together, where you collaboratively create meal and snack options based on your likes/dislikes, need for convenience, etc.
The usual process: have an initial meeting, where Mike can get a better understanding of your health and nutrition history. Then, you'll start to put together a nutrition plan and adapt as necessary in Follow Up meetings, which are usually done every 2-4 weeks.
